Salvatore Vinci commutes between Zurich and Athens. The warmth of Greece is reflected in his photography and films. His constant quest for new faces, edges, lights, and shadows drives him and keeps his creativity alive. After he completed his education at the art school in Zurich (ZhdK) Salvatore moved to London, where he established himself as an internationally respected photographer. His works have been published for various editorial and commercial publications like Dazed and Confused, The Face, Arena, Wallpaper, GQ, The Sunday Times Magazine, Zeit Magazin, Stern, Vogue Bambini, Das Magazin, Beobachter, Bilanz, Vogue Greece, Vrji Netherlands, Internationale.

Photography, for me, has always been a way to stay curious. It comes from the Greek — to draw with light — and that’s exactly what it feels like: sketching stories, faces, places with light and shadow. I love meeting people, catching a spark in their eyes, sharing a moment. It’s less about staging, more about sensing. Every shoot is a small journey, and often it’s the quiet, unexpected encounters that leave the biggest mark. I still get excited when I pack my camera bag — not just for the pictures, but for the people and stories waiting out there.
